I haven't been neglecting you, my faithful readers! I've just been a bit busy deciding on a paint scheme and testing it out. I hope to have my fleet painted up in the next few days so I can share it with you. I'm pretty psyched about it so far. It's a yellow and grey scheme so I will be the first to admit that it's not groundbreaking but I really wanted to try my hand at yellow and I love the Red Scorpions Space Marine chapter a little too much I guess. So I will show you guys how it turned out when it's finished.

So the fleet is assembled!  Only took a few hours, actually.  I managed to get them cleaned up, washed, and assembled while watching an episode of Castle and then some Firefly.  Now that I think about it, it sounds like I have a man crush on Nathan Fillion.  Well... who doesn't?  Oh well, my wife will understand I hope.

Sorry for the delay in posts.  I was off playing Army for the weekend but now I'm home with all of my goodies.  Where shall we begin?

The Elusive Lava Rock

So my fleet and rule book will be here tomorrow.  I will hopefully be able to pick them up before I have to go to class in the evening.  To get a head start on a little bit of terrain, I decided to use lava rock for asteroids.

Letter of Intent

Hello Internet!  My name is Ricky and I've recently become very interested in Firestorm Armada.  I've decided to pick up two starter fleets and the rulebook in order to give this game a go.  I've also decided that, for some reason, people out there might be interested in my journey.  My intent is to post up whenever I do pretty much anything with this new game from making a new purchase, assembly, painting, playing, and maybe even making a table to play on.  So if you're interested in the game, I hope this will be a good resource to make your decision on whether or not to play.  If you're not interested in the game, feel free to get a laugh out of my mistakes along the way!  So here we go.
